Members of the Writers Guild of America will be at Apple's Cupertino, California headquarters today to pass out leaflets urging the company to enter talks to end their current strike.

The firm, which had already opened majority of its U.S. locations, is temporarily closing some stores. Stores in Florida, North and South Carolina, and Arizona are impacted by the decision.

The Cupertino firm is asking retail workers to temporarily become work-from-home AppleCare employees. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has closed all 458 non-China stores.
Apple is said to be planning to reopen its physical retail stores outside of China in the first half of April "on a staggered basis". Team members may also continue to work remotely through April 5.
Apple has announced several more measures that will help to stem the transmission of Covid-19 in countries outside of Greater China. Employees will also be allowed to work from home.
Apple has provided an update to its previous revenue guidance. It factors in COVID-19 and the slowed rate at which factories are coming back online. It said its China retail stores were opening too.
