Microsoft has made some improvements to Archive Storage generally available. These include priority retrieval, enhanced capabilities for the Copy Blob API, and more features as well.

Azure's latest storage redundancy type, Geo Zone Redundant Storage, is now available in preview. Currently only in some U.S. and European regions, availability for GZRS will be expanded soon.
Microsoft has announced new pricing for its Azure Archive Storage service, dropping costs by up to 50% in some regions. With this, it is hoping to provide the most cost-effective storage offerings.
