Microsoft has taken the wraps off a number of announcements at its Ignite event, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server 2022 announcements centered on security and protection.

It wouldn't be a Microsoft developer-focused event without announcements focused on security. As such, Azure AD External Identifiers, the GA of the Azure Secure Score API and more have been unveiled.
At its Ignite conference, the Redmond firm announced a number of security-focused enhancements for its Azure platform, including better Security Center reporting, Azure Firewall Manager, and more.
Another one of Microsoft's Internet of Things solutions, Azure Security Center for IoT, is now generally available. It allows for end-to-end monitoring of Internet of Things deployments.
