Microsoft has released Azure Sphere OS for evaluation before a general release. It has changed a few components in this update and urges developers to ensure their applications still work.

Microsoft has tapped the Linux distro Mariner as its host OS of choice to power Xbox storefronts across console, PC, mobile, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. It has successfully migrated PlayFab already.
Microsoft has finally announced the general availability of the latest Azure Sphere version 22.02 after it canceled Azure Sphere OS version 22.01 in January due to issues in the Retail Eval channel.
