HMD Global has begun the public beta testing of Android Pie on the Nokia 8. The company's 2017 flagship is among the first to receive the latest version of Google's operating system.

The exclusive licensee of the Nokia brand is maintaining its track record for fast software updates and today it announced that Nokia 6.1 Plus owners can now sign up for the Android Pie beta.
It was only a month ago that HMD Global announced that it would bring Android 8.0 to its handsets by the end of the year. Now, it has launched a beta program, starting with the Nokia 8.
