Chinese tech giant NetEase Games is acquiring Quantic Dream for an undisclosed amount. The latter is a David Cage-led studio behind popular titles like Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human.

The Quantic Dream-developed choice-based narrative games are shedding their Epic Games Store exclusivity soon, with Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls coming to Steam in June.
Quantic Dream has announced when PC players can expect to get the developer's popular decision-heavy adventure games on their platform. The games will also receive "sizeable" demos before launch.
Epic revealed today during its GDC presentation that a wealth of upcoming games will be exclusive to its store, including Obisidan's The Outer Worlds as well as three Quantic Dream titles.
