Microsoft is reportedly giving its current employees a one-time cash reward that will be offered in addition to their normal bonuses. The reward will be about 10 to 25 percent of their normal bonus.

Although Apple is yet to conduct major layoffs (unlike its other big tech counterparts), it is enacting certain cost-cutting measures such as delaying some bonuses and slowing down hiring.
The Seattle firm will spend $500 in bonuses for its front-line workers that are working through the holiday season amidst COVID-19. Employees working throughout December will qualify for the bonus.
It comes as no surprise that there would be repercussions for Samsung beyond the billions of dollars lost due to the Note7. The firm is expected to cut bonuses for those in the mobile division.
