Microsoft's Windows 10 SDK for the Fall Creators Update is nearing completion, as the company today released SDK Preview build 16288, which lines up with the latest Slow ring build.

Last week saw Windows 10 builds get released to Skip Ahead, Fast, and Slow ring Insiders, but unfortunately, all of those builds caused the Surface Pro 3 to not be able to boot anymore.
For the second time this month, Microsoft has released a new Windows 10 Insider Preview build to the Slow ring, which is build 16288.1. Interestingly, it's the same one that's in the Fast ring.
After releasing Windows 10 for PCs Insider Preview build 16288.1 earlier today, many users have reported issues with installing it. Microsoft says that the issue has now been fixed.
Today, Microsoft released a new Windows 10 for PCs build to the Fast ring, bringing the build number to 16288. There's a long list of fixes and improvements in the new build, but it's not RTM.
