Microsoft has made an important change in recent Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview builds by disabling SMB guest authentication fallbacks by default. This has been done to improve the security of the OS.
Build 25267 RSS
Microsoft has released an additional fix for a major bug that was reported on Windows 11 22H2. The bug was causing slowdowns when moving large files over networks, or sometimes even locally.
As it turned out, the latest Windows 11 preview build, version 25267, has brought new visuals for yet another legacy UI. The operating system now features a modern dialog box for Windows Firewall.
This month's Windows Server vNext includes a Datacenter: Azure Edition, with the typical ISO and bits available in 18 languages. There are no known issues reported with this final build of the year.
Microsoft has released the newest Windows 11 Build 25267 to the Dev channel insiders today. As usual, the new build brings in plenty of changes and improvements, as well as bug fixes.
