Apple is close to finalizing a deal with OpenAI to integrate its ChatGPT into iOS 18. The deal would add generative AI to iPhones, improving features like Siri and other Apple apps.

The ChatGPT Android app is reportedly set to borrow a nifty feature from its web version: the ability to edit your prompts. This feature is already available on the standard version of the iOS app.
Greg Brockman, co-founder of OpenAI, comments on the new voice feature for ChatGPT, although he is no longer with the company. The feature is now available to all users of the conversational model.
OpenAI is expected to launch a new and faster version of ChatGPT, called GPT-4, very soon, and it could be incorporated into Microsoft's Bing search engine. A mobile ChatGPT app is also in the works.
