The popular navigation app, Citymapper, has been acquired by NYC-based Via for an undisclosed sum. Citymapper said all of its employees will be retained to continue working on their improvements.

Citymapper has released some financial information concerning 2021 and it looks like it made a loss of £7.4 million, in part due to the pandemic restrictions that were in place during that year.
Citymapper and Gett have teamed up to bring customers Black Bus 1 or BB1. The fixed route black cab service will cost £3 and you can get on or off anywhere along the route during commute hours.
