Ahead of COP27, Microsoft, along with Planet and The Nature Conservancy, will launch the Global Renewables Watch designed to map renewable energy installs using AI and satellite images.

Microsoft has announced a partnership with Scottish energy provider SSE. They'll attempt to make the energy sector more sustainable through a variety of efforts. Both are COP26 partners too.
Microsoft has been selected as a principal partner for the upcoming climate change event COP26 in the UK. In the role, Microsoft will help the UK government deliver a successful COP event.
