Apple says that it is "taking a deeper look" at how it handles disputed borders after it started showing the Crimea region as part of Russia earlier this week and received condemnation from Ukraine.

Apple has updated its Maps and Weather apps for users in Russia to now show Crimea as part of the Russian territory. The change had been demanded by Russian authorities for some time.
GitHub has verified that its services will be largely limited for developers in U.S.-sanctioned regions like Iran and Syria. These users will only be able to use them for non-commercial purposes.
