Google has announced that Android devices cannot have more than two display cutouts, and that notches can't be on the right or left edges. Furthermore, there can only be a single cutout on an edge.

Huawei debuted the P20 Pro and P20 and both handsets prominently feature a display cutout on the top. But for those that aren't interested in the look, the firm has given an option to remove it.
