Following an acquisition in 2020, Apple has decided that it is going to shut down Dark Sky's app and website by the end of 2022. The API service will reach its end of life on the same date as well.

DarkSky, which was acquired by Apple earlier this year, has announced that the Android app will work for another month until August 1, 2020. It was initially supposed to shut down on July 1.
Today, popular weather app Dark Sky announced that it's been acquired by Apple. This means big changes though, as the Android app, the Wear OS app, and more will be shut down later this year.
