In March, a Florida man was alerted by his son after an unknown object crashed through two layers of the ceiling of their house. It turned out the object was released from the ISS three years ago.

Recently a large piece of debris from a SpaceX capsule was discovered sticking vertically out of the ground in a farmer's field in New South Wales, Australia, and two other pieces were found later on.
