The analyst firm TrendForce has stated that industrial metaverse revenue will reach $540 billion by 2025 as companies begin to incorporate technologies such as digital twins into their processes.

Microsoft's IoT platform which allows for the formation and analyzation of digital replicas of real-world places is now generally available, along with key partner solutions for Digital twins.
Last month, Microsoft introduced new features for Azure Digital twins, including easier integration with IoT Hub, a live execution environment, and more. These features are now available in preview.
A bunch of services in Microsoft's cloud IoT space are getting new capabilities. These include Hub, Central, Maps, and Digital Twins, among others, with Windows for IoT receiving updates as well.
Microsoft has formally released Azure IoT Central, enabling IoT solutions to be spun up "in less than a minute" while its "Digital Twins" preview will facilitate predictive forecasting and automation.
