Microsoft is rolling out new firmware updates for the Lumia 550 and 650, bringing double-tap to wake to the Lumia 650 only. It's currently unknown what else is included in the new firmware.
After releasing new firmware to the Windows Device Recovery Tool 11 days ago, an over-the-air update is now available for the AT&T variant of the Microsoft Lumia 950, bringing double-tap to wake.
Some users are reporting that there is new firmware available through the Windows Device Recovery Tool for the Microsoft Lumia 650, which brings the double-tap to wake feature.
You'll need to use the Windows Device Recovery Tool to get it, but the new firmware with double-tap to wake is finally available for the AT&T model of the Microsoft Lumia 950.
Double tap to wake makes its return to the Lumia 950 and 950 XL in the UK with the latest update which includes camera refinements as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity improvements.
