Microsoft today announced that it will finally launch its dual-screened Android-powered Surface Duo in Canada, United Kingdom, France, and Germany early next year, ending its U.S. exclusivity.

Microsoft's upcoming dual-screen phone has been spotted in an FCC listing showing compatible network bands. FCC certification is one of the last hurdles before a product is ready for release.
At the Surface event last year, Microsoft showed off the Surface Neo and Surface Duo dual-screen devices. While Surface Neo has been delayed, the Surface Duo may launch in the coming weeks.
Some folks aren't too happy with the Android-only Surface Duo, and they made a petition. Said petition argues that Microsoft broke its UWP promise by not offering a Windows-based variant.
Following its product announcements for 2019, Panos Panay took some time on stage to talk about the dual-screen Surface Neo. It won't be ready anytime soon, and it's only coming in late 2020.
