Microsoft has announced that the images from their now-retired dynamic themes are available again in a series of Windows 8 "Community Showcase" themes, which also include new photos.

Microsoft has confirmed that it no longer offers the dynamic themes that it first introduced with Windows 7 in 2009, which added new images in periodic updates via an RSS feed.
