If you are a fan of rounded tabs in Microsoft Edge, bad news: the company is about to discontinue them.
Microsoft has released its Edge 128 web browser in the Stable Channel. It offers improvements for the detachable Edge Bar, requires a CPU with SSE3 and higher devices, and many more.
Edge 128 has landed in the Beta Channel for the final testing before the stable release. This version adds the SSE3 requirement rule, some deprecated features, new Coopilot policies, and more.
PCs that have a processor that does not use the SSE3 instruction set or higher will see a small delay in the ending of its support for the Edge browser. It was to end at 126, but will now end at 128.
