Bit Reactor, the development team that was announced as working on a new Star Wars strategy game for Electronic Arts, has announced the game is still in development even after this week's EA layoffs.

Electronic Arts has announced it will lay off 5 percent of its total workforce. EA previously cut 800 jobs in early 2023, and later that year it cut 50 team members from its BioWare studio
Game publisher Electronic Arts stated the company will no longer work on games that "do not contribute to our strategy" but did not give any specifics. It will also be "reviewing our real estate."
