The United States government has lifted its controversial laptop ban on Turkish Airlines, Etihad Airways, and Emirates Airline. The ban on tablets and e-book readers is lifted as well.

The US announced last March a ban on the use of devices larger than smartphones on flights originating from certain Middle Eastern countries but one user circumvented it through the use of HoloLens.
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that there was no laptop ban planned for flights coming from Europe. This decision comes after weeks of negotiations between the Trump admin and Europe.
