Tesla has been fined $2.2 million by South Korea's Fair Trade Commission. The regulator says the company mislead customers through false advertising that exaggerated its cars' capabilities.

In an amended cross-licensing agreement, Samsung and Qualcomm have settled their differences over an appeal of an antitrust suit. Samsung has withdrawn from a Korean FTC investigation.
The Taiwanese Fair Trade Commission found the silicon maker guilty of abusing its monopoly over smartphone modems in the country and has accordingly fined Qualcomm to the tune of $744 million.
