While similar in shape to the original, the LG G Flex 2 features a much more reasonable 5.5-inch curved display and upgraded specs all over. It's still very much a niche flagship. But is it worth it?

LG has announced details of availability for the G Flex2, its new curved Android flagship, featuring an octa-core 2.0GHz Snapdragon 810 processor, 2GB RAM, and 13MP rear camera with laser auto-focus.
We got our first hands-on with the LG G Flex 2 and it is a phenomenal device. Nearly all of the shortcomings of the original have been fixed. But, is a curved flagship really necessary?

At the Seoul LG G3 press event, LG announced that they would be releasing the G Flex 2 and Vu 4 sometime in the later part of 2014. Details, pricing, and availability were not announced.
