After beginning its Android 7.0 rollout for the Galaxy A5 (2016) earlier this month, Samsung has now made the Nougat update available for that device, and for the Galaxy A7 (2016), in India.

Almost nine months after Android 7.0 Nougat was released by Google, Samsung is beginning to roll it out to its Galaxy A5 (2016) handsets in Russia, bringing firmware version A510FXXU4CQDK.
After releasing the March security update for its Galaxy A5 (2017) in Europe earlier this week, Samsung has now begun its rollout of those patches for that handset's predecessor too.
Samsung has confirmed that it's working on a build of Android 7.0 Nougat for its mid-range Galaxy A smartphones. Unfortunately, owners of these models could end up waiting until mid-2017 for Nougat.
Samsung is continuing to make Marshmallow available for more of its devices - and it's just added two more to the list. Android 6.0.1 has started rolling out to the Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 (2016).
