Samsung has confirmed it will launch a new entry in its Gear S line, slated to be announced at IFA Berlin. The event will start next week and could also be the reveal platform for the Gear Fit2 Pro.

Samsung is releasing another wearable in the form of the Gear S. The defining feature will be that it has its own line of service, allowing it to be used without being tethered to a smartphone.
