The early benchmarks for Apple's M3 MacBook Air have been spotted in the Geekbench database. The new machine delivers a performance improvement of around 20% over the previous generation.

The latest versions of Geekbench, v6.1, as well as y-cruncher, have improved support for Intel's AVX-512 instruction. However, Intel's own current processors do not support this anymore.
Geekbench has released a new update that will prevent phones like the Samsung Galaxy S23, from thermal throttling. Aside from that, the new Geekbench version has several other improvements.
Geekbench 6 is the latest version of the multi-platform benchmarking tool. It includes several new tests that can be run, along with updated data sets and improvements in multi-core tests.
