Nvidia has announced that going forward, it will be selling variants of its RTX 30 series GPUs with lower mining has rates, in an attempt to prevent the cards from being hogged by cryptominers.

During the company's GTC conference today, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that the firm expects to see supply shortages for the RTX 3080 and 3090 GPUs till the end of the year owing to high demand.
