The GoDaddy.com domain name and website hosting service is giving its many customers a one month credit as compensation for the downtime that hit the company on Monday.

GoDaddy.com says that Monday's outage of its website, and millions of others that use its domain name service, was due to internal network issues and not the result of a cyber attack.
The web domain service GoDaddy.com has gone down due to a DNS issue, and with it so have millions of other websites that use the service or have their sites hosted by GoDaddy.
