Google has started rolling out is restaurant-booking Duplex feature to more Google Pixel users. Duplex can only make reservations at restaurants in select cities right now but Google will expand this.
Google's 'Call Screen' feature that lets the Assistant take calls will receive the ability to save call transcripts by the end of the year. It is currently available to beta users of the Phone app.
Google Assistant will be able to talk to other real humans at your behest starting next month in the form of Duplex, the service the company announced at I/O earlier this year in May.
Google Duplex is a technology capable of carrying out human-like conversations for specific tasks. Its first audio demos are staggering and the company will soon integrate it into Assistant.
