Google has revealed its roadmap to move reminders from Calendar and Assistant to the Google Tasks app. It's doing so to create a seamless to-do list experience for various Google services.

Google is moving Reminders from Assistant and Calendar to an independent app called Tasks. The app will assimilate everything from every device and help users. Google Keep isn't going away either.
After years of having it be a service used in conjunction with Gmail, Google Tasks makes its debut on Android and iOS with a spanking new design language and a baffling number of missing features.
