On July 18, 1968, just over a year before the first people landed on the Moon, three men founded Intel in Mountain View, California. Their small start-up eventually grew to become a huge tech company.

Gordon Moore, one of the co-founders of Intel and creator of Moore's Law, has passed away at the age of 94. Intel announced his death explaining that he was surrounded by family at home in Hawaii.
