It looks like it's the Amazon New World saga all over again where RTX 3090s were bricking. This time the affected GPU is the RTX 3080 Ti as multiple user reports suggest they are dying in Diablo IV.

EVGA Europe has reportedly stated that the number of RMAs requested for RTX 3090 cards that have died while playing Amazon's New World is very few. The AIB allegedly also failed to recreate the issue.
Amazon's new MMORPG New World - which is currently in beta - is apparently killing Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3090 for some unknown reason. Interestingly, a lot of these models seem to be EVGA ones.
