Apple's suppliers have made significant progress in switching to renewable energy for all their work related to Apple. The amount of renewable electricity increased by 30% in the last year.

Apple says it will use carbon-free aluminium, developed by ELYSIS, in its iPhone SE now that the metal can be produced on an industrial scale. Apple previously invested in ELYSIS through Green Bonds.
