After new images emerged of its long-awaited 'Halfbeak' smartwatch last week, HTC has now confirmed that it's "not going to have an Android watch", with no immediate plans to launch any smartwatches.

Last May, HTC reportedly pushed back the launch of its new wearable device until later in the year. Photos of the device leaked in October, and more have now surfaced - but its plans remain unclear.
For years HTC has been delaying the launch of its smartwatch. But now it looks like it finally has a prototype that may make it to market. Halfbeak, as the device is codenamed, might show up soon.
