2K and Hanger 13 have announced that the upcoming Mafia: Definitive Edition launch has been pushed back by a month to September 25. An extended gameplay showcase is coming later this month.

Definitive Editions of all the Mafia games are incoming from 2K, and some free upgrades are available to existing owners too. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a complete remaster of the original.

The Mafia franchise is returning with a new remaster or re-release it seems, with 2K Games today announcing Mafia Trilogy for modern platforms. A full reveal is slated to happen next week.
