WhatsApp is working on an option to upload high-quality photos and videos by default. The feature currently under development was discovered in WhatsApp version 2.24.5.6 beta for Android.
WhatsApp users can upload videos at a higher resolution when sharing them with their friends. The company has started a wider rollout of HD video support on its apps for Android and iOS.
