Apple has updated the HomePod mini smart speaker with a new color option. The company announced it will start selling the Midnight color on July 17 in over two dozen countries across the globe.
Apple has unveiled new colour variants for its HomePod mini. The yellow, orange and blue editions of the HomePod mini will cost $99 and will become available for purchase in November.
Earlier this week, Apple announced Lossless audio coming to Apple Music. While the AirPods product line will be unable to play the format, the HomePod will be able to play it with a software update.
Apple has a range of AirPods and HomePods available in the market. But none of the models support the newly launched lossless audio feature of Apple Music. Spatial audio is supported though.
Bloomberg and iFixit have confirmed the existence of a temperature sensor inside the HomePod Mini. Apple has not yet enabled this piece of hardware but it has discussed doing so internally.
