After new images emerged of its long-awaited 'Halfbeak' smartwatch last week, HTC has now confirmed that it's "not going to have an Android watch", with no immediate plans to launch any smartwatches.

Last May, HTC reportedly pushed back the launch of its new wearable device until later in the year. Photos of the device leaked in October, and more have now surfaced - but its plans remain unclear.
If you were looking forward to the release of HTC's rumored wearable, you might be in for a bit of bad news, as it has been postponed until fall. A specific reason for the delay was not offered.
