HTC has revealed that it is rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo to the U.S. variant of the U11 Life smartphone that was launched last month in the country. The device already features the update globally.

HTC officially released the mid-range U11 Life. There are two versions of the handset, one powered by Android 7.1.1 for the US while other markets will get Android One variant featuring Android 8.0.
A day ahead of the HTC event that is being held in Taipei, a video has surfaced online that shows off the U11 Plus and U11 Life in full, including the translucent rear panel on the former.
The year isn't over yet and HTC is ready to reveal something new next month. With that said, it looks like wireless carrier T-Mobile has accidentally revealed an unannounced handset from the firm.

Recently, the HTC U11 Life made an appearance on the benchmarking website GeekBench revealing some of the specifications the handset is expected to come with, including a Snapdragon 660 and 3GB RAM.
Early last month it was reported that a mid-range HTC handset could be on the way. Now, we have more details about the phone itself which could arrive in its official form as the U11 Life.
