An early gaming benchmark of the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D shows that it is easily able to beat Intel's much more expensive Core i9-12900KS. The i9 costs $739 while the 5800X3D is priced at $449.

Cinebench numbers for the binned Core i9-12900KS show that it can easily outpace the top-end AMD Ryzen 9 5950X even in multi-threaded situation. And in single-threaded test, the gap is even bigger.
