Apple has managed to reach a settlement with US states and consumers, two years since a lawsuit was filed against the company and five major publishers for illegally raising prices of eBooks.

Apple and Flipboard have teamed up so that Flipboard has rights to distribute iBooks through it's magazine inspired application. Flipboard will get 5% of the profit for each of the iBooks sold.
Apple's e-textbooks, launched alongside iBooks 2 on January 19, have already been downloaded more than 350,000 times, and over 90,000 users have downloaded the authoring tool to make e-textbooks.
