Apple has sent out invitations for a press event on September 7 where the company is expected to launch the next iPhone. Also expected is possibly a new Apple Watch, among other hardware.

While this year's new iPhone is only expected to feature modest changes - and the removal of the audio jack - next year's anniversary model is set to come with a radical new design.
Previous rumors had pegged an iPhone 7 launch for September 16th, but a leaked image from AT&T suggests the new smartphone may go up for pre-order on the 9th and have a wide release on the 23rd.
The next iPhones are expected to go on sale on September 16, after being unveiled earlier in the month - and according to one report, they'll be branded as 'iPhone 6SE', rather than 'iPhone 7'.
Apple's new iPhones will reportedly feature only a few "subtle changes" - but it's said to be planning to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack to make the devices even thinner, and water-resistant.
