Irish regulators have fined LinkedIn €310 million for unlawfully processing the personal data of EU users for targeted advertising, finding the platform in breach of strict European privacy laws.

Ireland's Data Protection Commission has today published its final decision on its inquiry into TikTok on how it handles the data of young users and has issued a fine of €345 million ($368m).
