The Debian Project has pushed a new update out to Debian 9, bringing it to version 9.2. The latest point release allows you to quickly install the OS with the latest updates, saving time and hassle.

Debian 9 and Debian 8 have received updates to version 9.1 and 8.9 respectively. The main focus of these releases concerns security updates and new ISOs are also available for download.
Devuan 1.0 Jessie has been released. It is now considered stable and can installed as an upgrade to existing Debian 7 and 8 installations. The distribution split from Debian over an init controversy.
The new artwork that will feature by default in Debian 9 has been announced. The 'softWaves' theme was created by Juliette Belin who was responsible for the 'Lines' artwork that shipped with Debian 8.
Debian 7 and Debian 8 have received point releases, 7.11 and 8.5 respectively. Debian 7.11 is the last point release the 7.x series will receive as the version comes under the wing of the LTS team.
