Nintendo has confirmed that its latest generation Joy-Cons for the Nintendo Switch 2 will skip out on having Hall Effect sensors.

BEUC, an European consumer organization, has filed a formal complaint against Nintendo for premature obsolescence due to the long-standing "drift" issues with the Switch's Joy-Con controllers.
