Microsoft has confirmed that the Start menu on Windows 11 is failing to open on certain systems. The issued popped up since the KB5014668 update. The company has provided a workaround.
One of the recent Windows 11 updates, KB5014668, is causing installation failures according to several user reports online. Ironically, this update itself was supposed to fix an OS upgrade fail bug.
The recent Windows 11 and 10 Patch Tuesdays for the month of June broke Wi-Fi hotspots for several users. Microsoft has fixed the issue on Windows 11 for now with the latest optional update KB5014668.
Optional C-updates are now available for all supported versions of Windows 10 and 11. The latter received the most changes with Search highlights and tons of various bugfixes and improvements.
Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 Release Preview Channel build 22000.776 under KB5014668. The new build brings several fixes and improvements including one that was causing OS upgrade to fail.
