Microsoft has redeemed itself with the latest Patch Tuesday as it resolved a DirectX issue whereby apps using Apphelp.dll would produce errors. Interestingly, it was a Patch Tuesday that broke it too.

Microsoft has released new Patch Tuesday updates today for August 2023 on Windows 10 versions 21H2, and 22H2 under KB5029244. There are also updates for older Windows 10 versions too.
