Following the major Crowdstrike fiasco, Microsoft has now confirmed a new problem Windows users are up against. After installation of the latest Patch Tuesday, they are stuck on BitLocker recovery.
Microsoft has confirmed that the odd bug that broke the taskbar in certain Windows 11 editions has been fixed. The necessary patch is available in KB5040442, which is this month's Patch Tuesday update
Microsoft has released Patch Tuesday updates for Windows 11 (KB5040442, KB5040431). You can download them from Windows Update or the Microsoft Catalog (if you want to install on an offline machine).
